Dr. Kamryn Gitchell

A Tennessean since birth, Dr. Kamryn Gitchell grew up in Ripley on a beef cattle farm where her love for veterinary medicine started. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Tennessee at Martin before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.

After graduation, Dr. Gitchell gained experience working as a DVM in Western Colorado before moving closer to home and joining the Concord Veterinary Hospital team. She is eager to provide knowledge and compassionate care to the pets of Eastern Tennessee.

When Dr. Gitchell is not at the clinic, you can find her cheering on the Vols with her fiancée. Together, they have 3 pets: a golden retriever named Knox and 2 cats, Prudence and Persephone. They also enjoy traveling, exploring new craft breweries, camping, and hiking.
